No. The books follow two brothers, but every edition works for any junior footballer aged 10 to 18. The Personal Edition uses your athlete's first name and the pronouns you choose.
No. From the Boundary is independent. It is not an official pathway program and is not affiliated with the AFL, the Talent League or any club.
The snapshot is eight questions and gives you a likely archetype in two minutes. The full intake is how we write a Personal or Legacy Edition: your answers, your athlete's answers recorded by you, and a page from their coach if you like. Your snapshot answers carry into the intake on the same device.
Their first name or chosen name, age band, position and the preference-style answers in the intake. We don't need, and ask you not to give us, a surname, school, address, photo, or any health, injury or medical information. An adult completes every part.
Email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my child's details". We delete them and confirm within 30 days. If you don't ask, we delete personalisation details 90 days after your order is delivered anyway, unless you asked us to keep them for a later book.
The ten books are written by people. For Personal and Legacy Editions, AI helps draft the personalised passages from your intake answers. A person at From the Boundary reviews every passage, and you approve a proof before anything is delivered or printed. Children's information is never used to train AI models.
Yes, always. Every Personal and Legacy Edition comes to you as a proof first. Nothing is delivered or printed until you approve it.
Tell us within 30 days of receiving the archetype report and we will re-run the read and rewrite the Personal Edition once, at no charge.
Yes. A gift certificate covers any edition. The child's parent or guardian completes the intake when they're ready, so you don't need any details about the child to buy one.
The Personal Edition is written for the age band and position you give us. The Next-Season Update (A$79) moves them into their new age band with new benchmarks and a new opening scene.
